About
Olga Volkova, a multidisciplinary contemporary artist based in Berlin, Germany. Olga’s work spans embroidery art, painting, and installations. With a deep fascination for the organic world and the poetic qualities of natural forms, Olga creates immersive visual experiences that bridge fine art and handcrafted expression. Her artistic practice is rooted in a commitment to tactile materials and manual techniques, exploring how the intricate interplay between texture, color, and form can evoke emotional resonance and invite reflection on our relationship with nature.
Olga sees her mission as transforming the stunning beauty of nature into everyday objects such as paintings, installations, and clothing. The idea is not new; it correlates with the Japanese tradition Ukiyo, meaning ‘pictures of the floating world’, which refers to the transient nature of everyday life. In her installations, Olga uses a variety of organic materials.
Actively involved in exhibitions and collaborative projects, the artist presented three exhibitions in 2025.
